Cemetery / Valderas River
Última Esperanza
From Puerto Edén and sailing 45 minutes south in small boats or zodiacs, we can reach the waterfalls of the Valderas River that overlook the Bernardo O’Higgins National Park. It is a rainy view during most of the year, with Magellanic forests of güaitecas, ñirre and cinnamon trees. From there, a 15-minute boat ride will take you to a Kawésqar cemetery, where small mausoleums in the shape of houses color the wet path of peat and mud.
