Cape Froward

An hour’s sailing from the end of Route 9 in Punta Arenas will lead you to different geographical features such as fjords, bays and rivers, and amidst the constant presence of the Strait of Magellan, a whale could make this crossing a unique spectacle of marine beauty. To reach the cross of the seas at Cape Froward, hike along a trail of about 350 meters in altitude and rich in biodiversity, with peat bogs, damp forests and views of the Strait. Once at the top, you can see the southernmost geographical landmark of the continent.
